Cleaning

How can assigning specific days to specific small tasks stop cleaning from feeling never-ending?

Cleaning feels exhausting when it’s this vague, endless cloud of “I should be cleaning more.” You see ten things at once and end up doing none properly.

If you assign simple themes to days—like “Monday: dust living room surfaces,” “Wednesday: bathroom mirror and taps,” “Friday: change bedsheets”—you break the load into small, realistic chunks. Each day has one or two tiny missions. If you do them, you’re done.

Over time, the house stays reasonably clean without mega-marathon sessions. Your brain likes structure more than the constant guilt of “I should do everything today.”
